The Spanish Government is drafting a new Royal Decree to tighten restrictions in Low Emission Zones (ZBE).
The goal: limit access not only based on the car’s emissions label, but also on vehicle occupancy.

That means having an ECO or Zero Emissions car may no longer guarantee full urban mobility.

The new regulation will also amend Spain’s General Traffic Rules, giving local councils more power to restrict certain roads or areas based on how many people are in your car.
