Here’s a quick guide to when you need to renew your driving licence depending on your age and licence category:

Category B (cars):

•⁠ ⁠Up to 65 years old → Renew every 10 years

•⁠ ⁠Over 65 → Every 5 years

Motorcycles (A1, A2, A):

•⁠ ⁠Up to 65 → Every 10 years

•⁠ ⁠Over 65 → Every 5 years

Professional licences (C, D, E):

•⁠ ⁠Up to 65 → Every 5 years

•⁠ ⁠Over 65 → Every 3 years

Renewal includes a mandatory medical check, and you can do it up to 3 months before it expires.
