Tyres and the ITV Test by La Hita ITV Stations

Check the tread depth of the tyres and that they do not have deformations it is a crucial part of the ITV test, where most of these defects are considered serious.

Tyres should have at least 1.6 millimetres of tread depth in the main grooves.

All tyres on the same axle must be of the same type.

LOAD RATING

The load capacity rating must be equal to or higher than that of any of the tyres listed on the vehicle’s ITV card.

SPEED RATING

The speed rating must be equal to or higher than that of any of the tyres listed on the vehicle’s ITV card.

EQUIVALENT TYRES

Permissible tolerance of between + 3 % and – 3 % for the nominal outer diameter.
