Speed Limit at the Radar in Campoamor – Orihuela Costa

🛣️ Also applies to similar roads across Spain!

🚨 What you need to know:

📍 This is a conventional road with physical separation between directions.

📜 By law, the road owner can set a 100 km/h limit for cars, motorbikes, and motorhomes under 3,500 kg.

⚠️ But here’s the catch:

❌ There is no sign indicating a 100 km/h limit before the radar.

✅ So, the default speed limit of 90 km/h applies!

📏 General Speed Limits (when no sign is present):

➡️ 90 km/h on conventional roads

➡️ 120 km/h on motorways

📊 Fines & Penalty Points (for 90 km/h zones):

🕐 91–120 km/h → 💶 €100 (no points)

🕑 121–140 km/h → 💶 €300 ❌ -2 points

🕒 141–150 km/h → 💶 €400 ❌ -4 points

🕓 151–160 km/h → 💶 €500 ❌ -6 points
