Speed Limit at the Radar in Campoamor – Orihuela Costa

Also applies to similar roads across Spain!
This is a conventional road with physical separation between directions.
By law, the road owner can set a 100 km/h limit for cars, motorbikes, and motorhomes under 3,500 kg.
But here’s the catch:
There is no sign indicating a 100 km/h limit before the radar.
So, the default speed limit of 90 km/h applies!
General Speed Limits (when no sign is present):
90 km/h on conventional roads
120 km/h on motorways
Fines & Penalty Points (for 90 km/h zones):
• 91–120 km/h →
€100 (no points)
• 121–140 km/h →
€300
-2 points
• 141–150 km/h →
€400
-4 points
• 151–160 km/h →
€500
-6 points
