Did you know? Not all roundabouts work the same way!

At the roundabout known as **”Parque de las Naciones”** in Torrevieja, there’s a common mistake many drivers make — and it’s time to clear it up!
Vehicles coming from the **national road** and turning into town have **two lanes**. Many drivers in the **right lane** stop to yield at the roundabout… but they don’t have to!
If you take a closer look, the **right lane is marked with a solid white longitudinal line**, which means:
It’s a **dedicated lane** for those vehicles.
Drivers already inside the roundabout **cannot cross** into this lane.
That means the roundabout is actually **designed to give priority to incoming traffic** on that specific path.
Meanwhile, the **left lane** inside the roundabout **does have to yield** — and you’ll spot the **white triangle yield sign** on the road.
So next time you’re driving in that area, remember:
If you’re on the right lane coming from the national road, **you have priority** — **don’t stop** unnecessarily!
