Avoid Fines You’re Not Responsible For!
Let the DGT know who’s REALLY driving your car 
If someone else will be the regular driver of your vehicle for more than 30 days (or more than 3 days in case of rentals), you can notify the DGT 
That way, when there’s a fine or traffic violation, the authorities will contact the regular driver directly instead of you — the owner. Much more convenient!
The regular driver must be informed and give consent, but this simple step avoids unnecessary notifications and helps protect everyone’s rights.
Perfect if a friend or family member is visiting for an extended period and you’ll let them use your car.
