The Spanish Traffic Authority (DGT) reports that reckless behaviors like these, which cause hundreds of accidents daily in roundabouts, could soon be sanctioned with €500 fines and loss of 6 license points.

Violations of right of way rules are the most common in roundabouts:

When entering, cars already circulating inside have priority.

Please, exit from the outer lane.

Exiting from the inner lane is very dangerous and may even be considered a serious offence if lives are put in danger.

To those drivers who usually leave the roundabout from the left lane: think twice before doing it again.
