Cycling in Spain
The Spanish Traffic Authority (DGT) has published a reminder post about the requirements that bicycles must meet for night-time circulation. 
Mandatory equipment:
Front: white position light
Rear: red position light
Rear non-triangular red reflectors
Optional: reflectors on wheels and pedals
The goal: to improve visibility and ensure cyclist safety at night.
