Here are all the available permits for two-wheelers in Spain:
From age 15
Mopeds up to 50cc
Max speed 45 km/h
Can carry a passenger from age 18
A1:
From age 16
Motorcycles up to 125cc and max 11 kW (15 hp)
Tricycles up to 15 kW
Must pass theory + practical exam
A2:
From age 18
Motorcycles up to 35 kW (47 hp)
2 years of experience required to move to A license
Requires theory + off-road and road tests
A:
From age 20 (22 for tricycles over 15 kW)
Allows riding any motorcycle
Requires 2 years with A2 + specific training (no exam)
