3 rules you must follow at roundabouts in Spain

Summer is here = more traffic = more accidents
Drivers from different countries often drive through roundabouts as they were taught in their home countries. Sometimes the rules are similar, sometimes very different. That’s why we’re giving you these tips to avoid an accident ruining your holiday:
—
1. Entry priority
Vehicles already inside the roundabout have the right of way
Do not enter if a car is approaching inside the roundabout — let it pass first
—
2. Use your indicators
Always signal when:
* Changing lanes inside the roundabout
* Exiting the roundabout
This helps other drivers understand what you’re going to do
—
3. Exiting the roundabout:
Never exit from the left lane
Always exit from the right lane
If you exit from the left and crash into someone in the right lane, you’ll be at fault — because you must cross their path, and they have priority
If needed, go around one more time and safely switch to the right lane
Remember: stopping inside the roundabout is strictly forbidden
