Warning triangles are no longer mandatory on Spanish highways and motorways!
Did you know that since July 1, 2023, it’s NO 
longer compulsory to place 
warning triangles in case of a breakdown or emergency on motorways (autopistas) or dual carriageways (autovĂas) in Spain.
Why the change
Because of the high number of pedestrian fatalities while placing or retrieving triangles on fast roads.
