Dynamic Speed Limits arrive in Spain
Big changes are hitting Spain’s roads! 
A 150km stretch of the AP-7 motorway near El Vendrell in Catalonia is now trialling dynamic speed limits, powered by AI! 
Instead of sticking to a constant 120 km/h, the speed limit will now change in real-time depending on:
Weather conditions
Traffic flow
Time of day
The goal?
Boost road safety
Cut fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions
Reduce traffic jams and keep things flowing smoothly
Drivers will need to pay close attention to electronic signs above the road, as limits can now change at any moment!
Similar systems are already in place in the UK, Germany and France… could this be the start of a smarter driving future across Spain?
