New DGT Road Marking: Green Line on Both Sides of the Road, by Plane Parking S.L

The Spanish DGT has introduced a green line painted along both sides of the road . This marking indicates the presence of an average speed radar, meaning your vehicle’s speed will be monitored over a specific distance.
Where is it used?
On conventional roads
In sections with average speed cameras
Areas where road safety needs reinforcement
Purpose:
Warn drivers about an average speed radar
Encourage a steady and safe speed
Reduce accidents caused by speeding
Important: Unlike fixed speed cameras, average speed cameras do not capture speed at a single point; they calculate the time you take to travel through the controlled section. Drive safely and respect the limits!
